Maynooth Access Group was proud to have delivered “Our World”, a disability awareness programme designed for and about children — promoting understanding, acceptance, and the celebration of what makes each of us unique, all part of the Inclusion & Diversity Week in Maynooth Educate Together School.

What is “Our World”?
“Our World” is a vibrant, engaging initiative that:

• Encourages children to explore diversity
• Fosters empathy and respect for others’ experiences
• Highlights that disability is part of human diversity

Through interactive sessions, storytelling, and creative activities, children learn to:

• Celebrate differences and abilities
• See beyond disability to the person and their potential
• Become allies in inclusion

Why it Matters
Education about disability:

• Helps break down stereotypes
• Builds compassionate future leaders
• Creates a culture where everyone feels valued and included
