We were delighted to receive the below review from a recent visitor to the new Play Park in Leixlip, which has unofficially opened its gates! An official opening ceremony with CKAN, KCC Parks Department and Intel will be taking place next week, and we can’t wait!

‘We visited the new inclusive playground in Leixlip the week it launched, and it’s just amazing. It was very busy but there were plenty of activities for all children to enjoy. The space is beautifully designed: we especially loved the castle turret and the obstacle course above the water collection pond (which is such a clever idea). Everyone just blended in. There were several children with visible disabilities, all enjoying the equipment seamlessly. There is plenty of seating too and a coffee dock nearby beside the sports centre. We would definitely recommend this as a safe and inclusive space for families and are very thankful to the council and the groups that came together to make it happen.’
